Was spending a good deal of time listening to ambient and electronic music. I think that even got into the handful of rock songs I recorded that year. Pentary began as a project exploring 5/4 beats but soon became something else. These are the most polished of the tracks I worked on that year. But come that autumn, things would change completely and I'd spend the next three years working on anonymous projects that remain outside the catalogue.
